(UNDATED) - Indiana State Police are seeking the public’s help in tracking down a handgun and other equipment stolen from an officer’s undercover police car.
The theft occurred between 11 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday when someone broke into the vehicle while parked at a residence, ISP Sgt. Noel Houze said in a statement.
A Glock Model 21, 45 caliber hand gun, two additional fully loaded magazines, and other law enforcement related items were stolen.
The address or area of where the theft occurred was not available, and Houze could not be reached for comment.
If anyone has any information regarding this theft, they are urged to contact the Indiana State Police, Versailles Post at 812-689-5000 or 800-566-6704. Callers can remain anonymous.
