(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Police recently wrapped up its annual bus inspections at North Lawrence and Mitchell Community Schools and Hoosier Uplands Headstart.
North Lawrence had 98 buses inspected with 65 approved to hit the road, 28 buses needed repairs and 5 were taken out of service.
At Mitchell 33 buses were inspected with 19 of those being approved, 6 needed repairs and 8 were taken out of service.
At Hoosier Uplands, 13 buses were inspected with 7 of those being approved, four needed repairs and two were taken out of service.
The results of inspections of each bus this summer are available through a website -- www.in.gov/isp/2988.htm -- developed for the Indiana State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.
That division inspects school buses around the state.
