(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University is looking to expand its online presence and increase its online education offerings.
By doing so, the university can reach more students and create a major source of revenue.
Indiana University has created more than 100 programs so far but is only serving 5,000 students.
By comparison, Penn State serves 12,000 students and the University of Massachusetts serves 30,000.
The director of IU's Office of Online Education says the school needs to do a better job of marketing its programs.
