(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after police received a 911 call reporting a couple was being followed by another person in a truck and the person was possible armed with a gun and was ramming their vehicle.
The 911 call was received at 7:18 p.m. from Jennifer Savage reporting she was in a teal blue 1995 General Motor truck driven by 33-year-old Billy Pridemore and traveling east on Ind. 60 near Spring Mill State Park.
She reported they were being followed by 36-year-old Rick Pridemore and he could possibly be armed with a gun.
While on the phone the dispatcher heard Savage scream and she reported Pridemore was ramming their vehicle.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, Pridemore pushed the truck for .14 miles back and forth across both lanes of traffic and off the roadway and into an embankment near Lawrenceport Road.
Then the two men got out of the trucks and started fighting.
Rick Pridemore was arrested and charged with battery and criminal recklessness.
Billy Pridemore complained of neck pain. Rick Pridemore complained of head pain. After being treated Rick Pridemore was arrested and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
