(BUCKTOWN) - A naked two year-old boy was found in the Greene-Sullivan State Forest Friday.
Tim Lewellyn, an engineer for Smithville Telephone, was driving through the forest on business when he came across the crying child.
Lewellyn described the boy as covered in bug bites, scratches and bruises.
He took the boy to the nearest town, which was Bucktown, and notified Greene County authorities.
Sheriff's deputies from Greene and Sullivan County responded, as did the Dugger Town Marshal and the Cass Township EMT.
The boy was dehydrated and taken to Greene County General Hospital, where he was reunited with his mother.
The Department of Child Services is investigating the matter.
