(ORANGE CO.) - Two of Orange County’s three school systems, Paoli and Springs Valley, are opening the 2013-2014 academic year with new superintendents.
An interim superintendent, Jerrill Vandeventer, is guiding Springs Valley Community Schools as the new school year begins.
Vandeventer is sitting in a chair that had been occupied by Todd Pritchett, who resigned earlier this summer to accept a job as director of fiscal systems for Greenwood Community Schools near Indianapolis.
Casey Brewster's move to the superintendent's office in Paoli created a vacancy in the high school principal's office.
That position was filled by Todd Hitchcock, who had been one of two assistant principals at Paoli. Kyle Neukam holds the assistant principal's post.
