(PATOKA) - Enjoy a special presentation by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Saturday, August 31 at 10 a.m.
Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Patoka Lake Visitor Center to car caravan to the Patoka Lake dam or meet us at the dam off Highway 545.
Discover the detailed operations of reservoir management for flood control as the guide takes you inside the actual Dam Tower structure. Learn how the lake level and spring flooding is controlled and who built the Patoka Reservoir & Dam in the 1970s and other interesting facts.
Bring family and friends, and join in this fun informative program.
The entrance fee of $5 per vehicle for Indiana residents ($7 out of state) is required for the Newton Stewart State Recreation Area, Patoka Reservoir, located north of Wickliffe Indiana, Highway 164.
