(UNDATED) - Police arrested two brothers in connection with numerous thefts in Orange, Washington and Harrison counties.
29-year-old Joshua Troutman of Orleans and 24-year-old Daniel Troutman of Louisville, KY were arrested on felony charges of burglary and theft.
Joshua Troutman was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail and Daniel Troutman was arrested taken to the Orange County Jail.
According to Orange County Sheriff Richard Dixon, Joshua Troutman confessed to the crimes. He told police the two stole the items and took them to Louisville to sell at flea markets and pawn shops.
The arrests came after several witnesses told police they saw a Chevrolet pickup truck in the area just before the burglaries happened along U.S. 150 east of Paoli and on Ind. 335 east of Orleans.
"The information witnesses provided helped solve the case," Dixon says.
Police also arrested 28-year-old Megan Byrant of Orleans for possession of heroin.
Dixon says the investigation continues and more arrests are pending.
