(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Soil & Water Conservation District and Indiana Farm Bureau will host a wildlife food plot workshop from 9 a.m. until noon on August 17.
The workshop will be held at the Lawrence County fairgrounds exhibit building.
Welcome and introduction will be by SWCD Chairman Curtis McBride.
Hunters Feed the Hungry will be presented by Orange & Martin Counties SWCD Tech. Terry Kinser.
Value of food plot seeding, habit management- how it can be used by will be presented by INDR Wildlife Biologist Mark Bennett.
Going Wild In the Woods will be presented by IDNR District Forester Janet Eger.
If you plan to attend RSVP to the SWCD office by calling (812) 279-8117 ext. 3 by August 15.
People who attend will have first chance at food plot seed that will be given away in April 2014 and there will be plenty of door prizes at the event.
