(BLOOMINGTON) - A 25-year-old Bloomington woman told police she was grabbed, kissed and undressed by an unknown male while walking to a friend’s house late Monday night.
According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Joe Crider, the woman had been at Yogi's Grill & Bar and left to walk to a friend's house near Eighth and Lincoln streets when a man approached her from behind.
The next thing she knew she was on a porch and the man was kissing her neck and undressing her.
Crider says the woman pushed the man away and called a male friend to come get her. A friend of the woman contacted police Tuesday morning.
The victim says the man was white about 5 foot 10 inches tall and had short light colored hair.
Tate says a detective was assigned to the case, but late Tuesday morning the woman did not want to pursue the case.
