(MITCHELL) - Kaylin Kirkman of Bedford was the winner in the youth division and JC Isom of Mitchell was the winner in the adult division of the 2013 Z102 Persimmon Idol Contest.
Each won a Persimmon Idol trophy, $100 cash and both will be on Z102 morning show on Tuesday and Home Spun Edge on Friday.
Competition in the adult division was fierce. Placing second in the adult division was Dezza Lee of Mitchell. There was only a .3 point difference between Isom and Lee's score cards. Clarence Brown of Bedford, was only 1 point from winning. He placed third in the competition.
Placing second in the youth division was Emily Spires of Bedford and placing third was Tori Gwyn of Paoli.
Judging the competition was Robert Helton, Rebecca Thompson and Anna Beaty.
