(PAOLI) - On Saturday, October 19, The Area II 4-H Teen Council will present the 2013 Southern Indiana Youth Leadership Forum, Operation: Citizenship.
The goal is to provide high-profile examples that demonstrate the power of leadership, citizenship and character to aspiring youth leaders.
The keynote speaker will be Miss America 1009, Katie Stam-Irk.
In addition there will be three breakout workshops that will include topics as Coping and Preventing Bullying, International involvement, our Global Connection and Citizenship in Action.
The forum is open to all teens in Southern Indiana regardless of 4-H affiliation.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orange County Community Center in Paoli. The cost is $15 and includes lunch and a t-shirt.
There will also be an adult track for chaperones.
