(BLOOMINGTON) - Police are searching for a man who robbed Peoples State Bank in Bloomington at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Bloomington Police Capt. Joe Qualters says the man is black, in his mid-30s with medium build and was wearing pants, boots and a gold or yellow jersey and a camouflage hat.
According to police the man walked into the bank, at 301 East Winslow Road, told the clerk had had a wapon and wanted money.
Police says the man never showed anyone the weapon.
After getting an undisclosed amount of money the man fled the bank.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department.
