(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department confirms eight CSX flatbed train cars derailing south of Bedford this morning.
Police say there are no reports of injuries or hazardous materials involved. The incident was reported shortly before noon.
Details about the derailment are not available, but it appears according to police, to be a minor incident.
The CSX train derailed south of the White River Trestle off Dixie Highway near the Cresthaven Cemetery.
