(WASHINGTON) - Two people were injured in a car/deer accident just after noon Wednesday.
48-year-old Kevin Gray, of Washington was driving a 2006 Malibu northbound on County Road 150 East near the U.S. 50 By-pass when a deer ran onto the road.
Gray swerved to miss the deer, ran off the east side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned.
Both Gray and his passenger, 38-year-old James Sisco, of Loogootee were taken to the Daviess Community Hospital by ambulance for treatment of their injuries.
Police estimate the damage at up to $25,000.
