(ORANGE CO.) - 16-year-old Brandon Bundy, of West Baden Springs, who was arrested following a high-speed chase on State Road 37 Saturday is facing six charges, including felony charges of auto theft, theft and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.
He is also charged with operating a motor without ever having received a driver's license, reckless driving and failure to stop after a crash involving a property damage accident.
Bundy is currently being housed at the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department the pursuit started about 7:30 a.m. Saturday after an officer attempted to stop Bundy in Paoli because of an auto theft report.
Bundy continued to travel north on INd. 37 exceeding 100 mph as he drove through the construction zone in Orleans.
Lawrence County police were asked to assist. Bundy was stopped after Lawrence County officers deployed stop sticks at Sprint in Mitchell.
