(BEAN BLOSSOM) - A Michigan woman was arrested on drug and gun charges following an investigation into a disturbance in the Bean Blossom area early Thursday morning.
According to Brown County Sheriff Rick Followell, around 2 a.m., Heather Blessing was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The sheriff says when officers arrived, they found that a man was claiming to have been shot at by a woman in a gold car and she took off with his grandchildren. A fight broke out and the man allegedly damaged the car belonging to Blessing as they tried to get away. The car was found stalled on State Road 135 North with three women and two juveniles inside.
Those inside the car claimed that the man attacked them in a driveway and that they fled and fired a shot in the air to scare him.
After conducting an investigation and speaking to all parties involved, officers then arrested and charged Blessing. She was booked in the Brown County Jail on $11,000 bond.
