(BEDFORD) - The City of Bedford will be flushing fire hydrants today.
Customers near these areas are cautioned to be careful during this time period as the water can be muddy or rusty and can stain laundry. If the water becomes discolored, let the cold faucets run for a short while and it should clear up. Remember if the weather turns bad, the flushing will be cancelled.
Today crews will be in the area of 8th and O streets, west to X Street, north to Second and S streets, Heltonville and Mount Pleasant roads and Boyd Lane.
On Sunday crews will be at 16th and P streets east, 17th Street south to 39th Street and west of M Street, Eastlake Drive, Crawford Addition, Brook Knoll, Saddle Barn Addition.
