(BLOOMINGTON) - Authorities are investigating the death of an Indiana University student Sunday afternoon.
Officials with the Indiana University Police Department say 18-year-old Abigail Bott, of Clarendon Hills, Illinois died at her residence in the McNutt Quad dorm.
Her body was found at 2:26 p.m.
Her cause of death was not released and an autopsy is scheduled. Officials say more information would become available as additional details were confirmed.
Numerous students commented on Twitter that they are praying for Bott and her family.
Police didn't release details on who found Bott's body, when she was last seen alive or what may have caused her death.
Students affected by Bott's death can contact Counseling and Psychological Services at (812) 855-5711 to make an appointment. CAPS offers two free counseling sessions a semester.
