(BLOOMFIELD) - A Jasonville man was charged with rape.
19-year-old Justin Farnsworth, of Jasonville, was arrested Friday and appeared in Greene Circuit Court Monday where he was charged with rape.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Farnsworth is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl on August 5th..
According to Jasonville Police Officer James Gadberry, Farnsworth admitted to the incident and told police a similar story as the teen. The girl told police that Farnsworth forced himself on her while she continued to tell him no and kicked and fought with him.
During court, a public defender was appointed to represent Farnsworth and a trial date was set in March 2014.
