(LINTON) - Frightmares Haunted House is requesting visitors leave a little blood behind when they visiting Saturday.
The haunted house will host a blood drive for a second year from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday night.
Co-owner Cristy Phipps says visitors who donate blood will get $3 off their admission and their name will be entered into a raffle for prizes.
Last year the haunted house dedicated a number of nights to help raise funds for various charities. This year the focus will be on raising scholarship funds for actors who volunteer their time at the haunted house. Guest are asked to donate a $1 when they visit.
Phipps says not only do the actors help with the haunted house they are the first to donate blood. Phipps says the Haunted house opened late last year because so many of the actors were donating blood.
The haunted house will be open from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
