Man Arrested After Firing Bullet Into An Apartment

(BLOOMINGTON) - A 32-year-old Bloomington man was sitting in his kitchen when he heard a blast Saturday and found a bullet.

Police were able to determine that the bullet was fired from an adjacent apartment on South Oakdale Drive.

They arrested 24-year-old Sergio Salazar on a felony charge of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Police say no one was injured in the incident.

Salazar was booked into Monroe County Jail at 6:46 p.m. with bond set at $4,000 surety, $500 cash.
