(BEDFORD) - Bedford police arrested a Norman man after they made a traffic stop on 16th Street near Ruler’s grocery story Friday afternoon.
When police approached the vehicle, they smelled the strong odor of marijuana. A Bedford K-9 unit was called to the scene and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.
Police arrested 21-year-old Christopher Hawkins on charges of driving while his driver's license was suspended with prior convictions, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
