(MEDORA) - On Saturday Medora will go Pink.
The fourth annual HOPE Medora Goes Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Event and Community Day will raise funds for those who are suffering from cancer. Last year the event raised more than $7,000 for those who live in Jackson, Lawrence, Jennings, Monroe and Washington counties.
Event Coordinator Deb Wayman says Medora cares - Medora shares.
One highlight Saturday is the Monster Truck Show scheduled for 1:30 p.m. John Brag, from Franklin is bringing his monster trucks and is donation all the money raised to HOPE.
Wayman says the money raised during the Medora Goes Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Event and Community Day will be used to buy gas cards and groceries for those who are battling the deadly disease.
Tickets can be purchased for the Monster Truck Show in advance or on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at the State Bank in Medora or any committee member and are $10. The first 200 tickets holders will be allowed to meet and greet the drivers and see the trucks up close. They may also stand or sit in a special designated area to view the show.
