(ODON) - The Odon Pumpkin Festival is Saturday.
The event will begin at 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Activities include a pumpkin recipe contest, 50's best dressed contest, masquerade party, and new this year a Pumpkin Drop - a big pumpkin filled with candy will be dropped for all to retrieve candy; a Pumpkin decorating contest, windows decorated by North Daviess students, cozy fire-pits, and a stage built in the center of Main and Spring Streets for masquerade judging, golf cart decorating contest and the Scarecrow will be handing out candy to all the kids.
There will also be a pumpkin rolling contest, pie eating and seed spitting contests and the the biggest pumpkin contest, weigh-in is at 6:30 p.m.
Sign up for the cornhole tournament will be at Odon Pharmacy at 3:30 p.m. Time slots of play will be drawn at 3:45 p.m. There is no entry free and the winner will take home $150.
