(PAOLI) - Safe Kids Orange County will sponsor Safe Night Halloween on October 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Orange County 4-H Fairgrounds.
October 31st is the most dangerous day of the year for children pedestrians. Children under the age of 15 are twice as likely to be killed while walking on Halloween than any other night.
Safe Kids Orange County wants kids to be seen on Halloween. So they will be giving away lots of fun stuff to keep kids safe and help them be seen by motorist on Halloween night.
The event is for children 3 to 12 years old. All children must be present to receive the free items.
Children are welcome to come in costume.
Other sponsors include Safe Kids Worldwide Fed Ex Cares, Walk This Way, Paoli Hospital and the Orange County 4-H Inc.
