(JASPER) - Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas Carter has promoted Trooper Philip Hensley to the rank of sergeant to serve as the Public Information Officer for the Jasper Post.
Hensley is a native of Jasper and a 1999 graduate of Jasper High School.
After graduating high school, he attended the University of Evansville where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering.
After graduating from the State Police Academy in 2004, Hensley was assigned to the Jasper Post and spent most of his career patrolling Dubois County.
