(MITCHELL) - Two Mitchell residents were arrested this morning after an officer on routine patrol noticed them doing meth through their sliding patio door window.
Mitchell Police Officer Kane Gilstrap was doing a security check in the area of Persimmon Park Apartment when he noticed the drug activity.
Gilstrap then requested a search warrant for apartment 45.
During the search officers found meth and drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested 28-year-old Justin Terrell and 33-year-old Stormi Knight, who both lived in the apartment.
They were charged with reckless possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth with in 1,000 feet of a housing complex and neglect of a dependent.
