(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man convicted of stealing a piggy bank and spending the money on synthetic marijuana is scheduled to be sentenced for the crime later this month.
Monroe Circuit Court jurors last week convicted 21-year-old Ryan Lady of theft, but found him not guilty of burglary, at the conclusion of a two-day trial.
Lady could be sentenced up to three years in jail on the theft conviction.
