(SPRINGVILLE) - A Bloomington man suffered a dislocated or fractured shoulder after he crashed his vehicle on Ind. 54 Friday afternoon attempting to avoid a deer.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 61-year-old Gregory Duke, of 1511 Huntington Drive, was traveling west on Ind. 54 and swerved his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado to miss a deer that ran into the path of his vehicle.
The vehicle went off the north side of the road, went over an embankment, through a fence and stopped in a ditch.
