Deposits Taken From Mitchell Bakery

(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Police are investigating a theft at Huckleberry’s Bakery on West Main Street.

Mitchell Police Chief Mike Hardman says the manager arrived at the business at 5:27 a.m. and found the back door of the business open.

She waited for police to arrive. No one was inside the business, but the manager says the previous day deposits were missing.

Hardman says there was no forced entry and officers are talking to suspects but no arrests have been made. The theft remains under investigation.
