According to Linton Police Officer Nick Yingling, officers went to a home on North West I Street around 11 a.m. after a report of a verbal dispute and a man armed with a weapon was hitting a van.
When police arrived Rose told police he and his wife had "been into it" and that they were separated and he admitted to hitting the van with a tire jack and busting out the windows.
The woman told police she had a protective order against Rose and that the courts had awarded her the van in October.
Rose had knocked out the windshield of the van and five of the back windows.
Rose is also accused of sending texts to the woman on several occasions, even though there was a protective order was in place.
Rose was mad at the woman and had went into the garage, came out with a jack handle and began breaking the windows. He was also yelling and cursing the woman.
