(WASHINGTON) - Washington resident Derrick Clark wanted the warning lights at the US 50 and State Road 257 intersection south of Washington changed.
Clark and Jason Petty approached the Washington City council Monday asking for support.
The Council voted unanimoulsy to authorize Mayor Joe Wellman to sign a resolution in support of Clark's efforts spurred by the number of fatal accidents at the intersection over the years.
