(BLOOMINGTON) - 63- year-old Jay “Sam” Bell has been found safe at the Fairfax Inn.
Earlier Story - A Silver Alert has been issued for a Bloomington man who was last seen by family members at approximately 9 a.m. today.
He left the area of Heatherwood Mobile Home Community in the 3600 block of S. Leonard Springs Road on the southwest side of Bloomington.
The man, Jay "Sam" Bell, 63, suffers from Alzheimer's and may be in danger. He has previously hitchhiked to the Bedford, Indiana, area.
Bell is a white male, 6'-1", 250-260 lbs., hazel eyes, salt and pepper hair with a long full silver beard.
Bell was believed to be wearing:
* dark jeans
* blue long-sleeve Kentucky Wildcat shirt with a black undershirt underneath
* green tennis shoes
* black baseball cap with a Kentucky Wildcat logo
