(CRAWFORDSVILLE) - A member of the Crawfordsville Police Department was involved in a shooting around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Indiana State Police say they are investigating a shooting that happened around 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the RR Donnelley plant on Sloan Street.
According to Crawfordsville Police Chief Mike Norman the officer was not injured but the suspect was but is expected to recover.
Indiana State Police is in charge of this investigation since a Crawfordsville Police Officer was involved. ISP officials say the shooting stemmed from an "unprovoked attack" on the officer.
The investigation is on-going and no other information is available at this time.
