(WASHINGTON) - One of two suspects wanted for attempted murder in Evansville has been arrested at a Daviess County home.
34-year-old Edward Ivy was arrested Monday afternoon at a home outside of Washington on County Road 1153 West 150 North. Washington and Indiana State Police and Daviess County Sheriff's deputies descended on the home after Washington Police received a tip that Ivy was staying there.
Ivy is being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond on charges of attempted murder with a knife and intimidation with a weapon.
Evansville Police say the stabbing happened just before 10:30 p.m. Monday at 2403 North Harlan Avenue. Investigator say Ivy and Russell broke into the home of 53-year-old Jerald Clark, Ivy threatened Clark with a gun and 16-year-old Antoine Russell allegedly stabbed Clark multiple times with a knife.
Russell still remains at-large and is considered armed and dangerous.
The victim was found at a home on Negley Avenue when a neighbor called police saying Clark had broken in and was bleeding profusely.
He was taken to Deaconess with life threatening injuries.
