(JUDAH) - Three people were injured in a head-on collision on Judah Logan Road near Logan Bottom Road Thursday night.
The accident happened at 5:28 p.m.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 23-year-old Hali Clester, of 2607 Sanders Lane, was traveling north on Judah Logan Road and was coming around a curve when her 2004 Hyundai hydroplaned as she was going down a hill.
The car crossed the center line and collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Trail Blazer driven by 54-year-old Carmon Butcher, of 2444 Mount Pleasant Road.
Butcher told police Clester was traveling at a high-rate of speed.
Clester and her 3-year-old passenger, Iestyn Bruce, of Bloomington were trapped in the vehicle.
Firefighters from Bedford Fire Department and Marshall Volunteer Fire Department cut the roof off of Clester's vehicle to free them.
Clester suffered a possible fractured femur and was taken to a Bloomington Hospital. Bruce was taken to St. Vincent Dunn hospital with facial lacerations.The child was then flown by helicopter to Riley Hospital with possible internal head injuries.
Butcher complained of shoulder and upper arm pain, but refused to go to the hospital for treatment.
Clester was given a breath test and tested negative for consuming alcohol.
