(BEDFORD) - Three people were injured after a three-vehicle crash on Ind. 37 and 29th Street Thursday at 5:05 p.m.
According to a Bedford Police report, 43-year-old Jeanne Ware of Bowling Green and 62-year-old Stanley Lindsey of Mitchell told officers they had their vehicles stopped at the red light on Ind. 37 when their vehicles were rear-ended as the light turned green.
Police say 53-year-old Thomas Boyer of Orleans was approaching the intersection and saw the vehicles stopped for the light. He then noticed the light turned green and accelerated. He told police he accelerated too fast, thus causing his 2013 Ford F150 to crash into the rear of Stanley's 2006 Chevrolet HHR, which was then pushed into the rear of Ware's 2007 Chevrolet HHR.
Ware complained of neck pain at the scene. Stanley complained of lower elbow and arm pain at the scene. Stanely's passenger, 64-year-old Connie Lindsey, complained of back pain. Boyer was not injured during the incident.
