(UNDATED) - Late today, rain is expected to turn to snow with some minor accumulations possible.
Clouds will be on the increase with showers developing around noon in north central Indiana. The closer we get toward rush hour, the more the rain moves to the south, mixing with snow after dark changing to a wintry mix in the evening.
By late Monday night into early Tuesday residents could see up to 1″ of snow possible.
Tuesday will be chilly with flurries. However, temperatures in the mid 20s could cause some slick spots early Tuesday.
Much colder air settles in Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, as Wednesday morning lows drop to the low 20s. Temperatures in the teens will be likely outside of Indianapolis.
A warm up is on the way for the weekend, but we could also see a chance of rain.
