(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman was injured after she drove her vehicle through a red light Wednesday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police reports, 74-year-old Margaret Tarr ran the red light at the intersection of Ind. 37 and 29th Street and collided with another vehicle.
Tarr was confused and could not answer police officers questions at the scene.
She did suffer an abrasion to her elbow and lower arm and was taken by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
According to police, 61-year-old Clifford Williams, of Big Rapids, MI, who was traveling west on 29th Street and had the green light was entering the intersection at 29th and Ind. 37 when Tarr, who was traveling north on Ind. 37 drove her 1990 Pontiac Grand Am through the red light and collided with Williams' 2012 Ford F-150.
Williams was not injured in the accident.
