(FAYETTEVILLE) - A 10-year-old never imagined that he would be able to bag such a big buck.
Ethan Terry, a fourth grader at Fayetteville Elementary, shot the 12-point buck Saturday morning. It is his first deer.
The deer was shot in the Blue Springs area.
His big smile expresses his joy.
Ethan now has bragging rights and won't let his father Robby and mother Crystal Terry forget it.
Ethan is also the grandson of Kathy Terry.
"It is wrapped up in the freezer waiting to be mounted," Kathy says. " It will be on the wall with all the other first kills of deer and turkey with his picture and all the information on it. It was a great shot too. It was a double lunger. Quick kill easy to find."
