(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police arrested a Washington man Sunday for the murder of 17-year-old Devan Burris early Friday morning.
Burris was shot during an incident on Oak Grove Road near Ebernezer Church. Sources say the teen was shot in the throat during an apparent dispute over a vehicle. He was taken to Daviess Community Hospital where he died.
Officers arrested 18-year-old Logan Evans at an apartment on Highland Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday night.
Two other people were also arrested in connection to the murder.
The Daviess County Jail report states Washington Police arrested 19-year-old Lucas Benjamin, of Washington, Sunday on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
His bond is set at $10 million dollars.
City police also arrested 18-year-old Heaven Marie Berry of Washington Sunday for providing assistance to another who committed the crime of murder.
Bond was set at $7,500.
According to police, no details are being released and the incident is under investigation.
