(SEYMOUR) - There’s some good economic news coming out of Jackson County.
The "Seymour Tribune" reports that Aisin Chemical Indiana in Crothersville will continue its record of growth with a product expansion next year that will add two new lines and create new jobs.
The paper reports plans to install the new lines will require an $8.1 million investment in manufacturing equipment and an additional $400,000 in research and development equipment. It also will create two new products and add 12 new employees.
The new jobs will generate $450,000 in new salaries and benefits. The company now employs 50 workers with overall salary costs of $2.45 million.
