(PAOLI) - Firefighters from Orange County Rural District II and Paoli Volunteer Fire Departments battled a house fire at 3268 East County Road 100 North in Paoli Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 6:27 p.m.
According to Orange County Rural District II VFD Fire Chief Bill Sallee creosote buildup in the wood stove cause the fire at the home of Wayne Walters.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the flue and the wall behind the wood stove. They were on the scene till 10:25 p.m.
