(BLOOMINGTON) - A string of robberies, three over the past three weeks and two at the same bank, has Bloomington police looking for connections between the incidents.
The latest robbery took place Saturday at the Old National Bank at 2801 E. Buick Cadillac Blvd. The same bank was robbed on Dec. 20. Toen On Dec. 27, Regions bank at 476 S. Liberty Drive was robbed.
In each robbery the man was described as being a slender white man being 5-foot-10-inch, wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, jeans and sunglasses. The man was not armed, and his face was concealed with a dark-colored face mask or scarf.
No weapon was displayed and no one was injured in the robberies.
Bloomington Police Sgt. Joe Crider says police believe the crimes could be connected.
Anyone with information about the bank robberies are asked to call Bloomington police Detective Brandon Lopossa at 349-3318.
