(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he allegedly stole a bottle of Vodka from CVS took it into the bathroom and poured the substance into a thermos and left the store.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley officers were called to the store at 5:27 a.m. Monday after they believed a man had been stealing Vodka from the store.
"They had been finding empty Vodka bottles in the restroom," Parsley says. "And they believed this was the same man stealing the alcohol."
When police arrived, 33-year-old Luke Baer, was in his van and getting ready to leave the parking lot.
Baer was stopped and officers found a thermos full of Vodka in the vehicle and an empty Vodka bottle in the restroom of the store.
Baer, of 1822 F St., was arrested on a charge of theft.
