(MITCHELL) - A Bedford man was arrested after Mitchell Police officers stopped him for speeding Sunday at 7:56 p.m. at Teke Burton Drive.
31-year-old Michael Dalton, of 2580 Tunnelton Dennison Road, was cited for driving while his driver's license was suspended and arrested on charges of possession of meth and a schedule IV controlled substance and obstruction of justice.

Before Dalton was taken to jail, he was taken to IU Health Hospital for a medical evaluation.
Police also went to a home on Art Gallery Road to gather more evidence in the case.
This is not the David Michael Dalton who is a volunteer firefighters with Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department.
