(BLOOMINGTON) - Due to the extended power outages, the American Red Cross is opening a warming shelter at Bloomington High School North, 3901 N. Kinser Pike.
The warming shelter will be open as long as the need exists, Monroe County's Emergency Management Director Jim Comerford stated in an email.
Those visiting the warming shelter should bring their own towels, blankets and pillows, he said.
