(BLOOMINGTON) - A 21-year-old Bloomington man was arrested after police say he was found urinating in front of Kilroy’s Sports Bar early Sunday morning.
Christopher Tarpey was charged with public nudity and public intoxication.
According to police, officers were waved down by several passing motorist reporting the man was exposing himself to the motorist and patrons standing in front of the bar on North Walnut Street.
According to Bloomington Sgt. Lucas Tate, when the man saw the police car he fled without completely zipping his pants or buckling his belt.
Officers turned on their emergency lights and Tarpey stopped. He tried to convince police that it was not him urinating in front of the bar, but someone that looked like him.
Tarpey failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested.
