(BROWNSTOWN) - A speeding and sliding automobile prompted a Brownstown council member to recommend the installation of a guardrail near a pond in the town park.
Council Member Bill Sweeney said the town should consider installing a guardrail at Benton Street where it runs into Bridge Street, which borders the park.
Sweeney said he recently witnessed a motorist -- who he said was driving too fast -- nearly slide into the pond at the park.
